Brentwood entered their tilt with Franklin on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Admirals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bruins have posted since August 23rd.

Brentwood took Franklin into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Eliza McKnight paced Brentwood's offense, picking up 27 kills. McKnight got some help from Lauren Duncan and her 29 assists.

Brentwood's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Franklin, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brentwood will challenge rival Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Ravenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
