Volleyball Recap: Lake County Comes Up Short at Home Against Gilpin County

Lake County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Gilpin County Eagles on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-13.

After both having extra time off, Lake County and Vail Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gilpin County, they will take on West Grand at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
