Soccer Recap: Croatan Finishes Even with Southern Nash

For the first time this season, Croatan was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Southern Nash Firebirds could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The outcome might've been different if Chase Evans hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Croatan hit Southern Nash with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Thorpe, Landon Morton, and Spencer Lorencz.

With that draw, Croatan's record moves to 0-1-1. Meanwhile, Southern Nash's record is now 1-0-1.

Coming up, Croatan will challenge Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Nash, they will take on Southeast Raleigh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
