Baseball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Timnath hit Northridge with a five-run third inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Grizzlies lost 11-1 to the Cubs.

Northridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Casillas, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Timnath, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9.

While Northridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
