Strafford has gone a perfect 6-0 against Buffalo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indians will head out on the road to take on the Bison at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Strafford is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Logan-Rogersville just ended the team's 15-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

Strafford was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Logan-Rogersville work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 26-28, 17-25, 25-23, 15-4.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Buffalo and Fair Grove have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Bison took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

While Buffalo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 18-25, 25-19.

Strafford's loss dropped their record down to 17-2-2. As for Buffalo, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8-4.

Everything went Strafford's way against Buffalo when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Strafford made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
