Volleyball Recap: Hammond Golden Bears vs. Centennial Eagles
Hammond kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Centennial Eagles. The Golden Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured 14 losses in a row dating back to last season.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17, 20-25, 25-9.
The win got Centennial back to even at 2-2.
Hammond will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against Atholton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will square off against Oakland Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial is facing Oakland Mills at the right time seeing as Oakland Mills is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
