Softball Recap: Comer's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Comer had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Talladega by a score of 11-7 on Thursday. Comer's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last six games.

Lacey Liner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kylie Harrison, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Comer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Comer's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Talladega, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coming up, Comer will host Winterboro at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Talladega, they will head out to take on Ohatchee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
