On Thursday, Horn Lake faced DeSoto Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Horn Lake Eagles walked away with a 70-60 win over the DeSoto Central Jaguars. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won seven games in a row.

Horn Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for DeSoto Central, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5.
