North Creek barely beat Newport - Bellevue the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. North Creek was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Newport - Bellevue on Monday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Landon Taylor tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, North Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Ojeda, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
