Softball Game Preview: Graham Red Devils vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets

Graham hasn't had much luck against Jordan-Matthews recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Red Devils will head out to take on the Jets at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Graham was able to grind out a solid win over Greater Vision Academy, taking the game 9-5. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews hadn't done well against Eastern Randolph recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Jets put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 14-1 win. The Jets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Graham's record is now 3-14. As for Jordan-Matthews, their record now sits at 11-7.

Graham might still be hurting after the 17-0 loss they got from Jordan-Matthews in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
