Indian Hill dropped their record down to 16-6 on Thursday, which also ended the team's ten-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Hamilton Big Blue by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Braves have suffered since April 11th.

As for Hamilton, the victory got them back to even at 12-12. The win was familiar territory for they, who have now won five matches in a row.

For Hamilton's part, Landon Fields looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fields has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Austin Payne was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. He has become a key player for Hamilton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-12 otherwise. Caleb Warner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
