Softball Recap: International Falls Extends Winning Streak to Three

International Falls came out on top against North Woods on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Broncos blew past the grizzlies 12-1. Considering the Broncos have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was International Falls' third in a row) raised their record to 7-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for North Woods, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

International Falls has already played their next matchup (against Roseau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Woods does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
