Baseball Recap: Centennial Falls Short Against Ranked Eagle

Centennial faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-5. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Eagle, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Eagle will both be playing Kuna the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Kavemen at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
