Baseball Recap: LEE Takes a Loss

LEE fell victim to Madison and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Mavericks, falling 14-0. The Volunteers have struggled against the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

LEE saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Pearson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

LEE's loss dropped their record down to 4-18-1. As for Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14-1.

Coming up, LEE will be playing at home against Churchill at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison, they will head out to challenge SA Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mavericks are facing the Rough Riders at the right time seeing as the Rough Riders are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
