Grapevine is a perfect 4-0 against Brewer since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Grapevine Mustangs will square off against the Brewer Bears at 5:00 p.m.

Grapevine managed to slip by Midlothian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Grapevine lost 5-0 to Midlothian last Tuesday. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Brewer had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs.

Brewer hit Trimble Tech with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Peyton LeonGuerrero, Audrey Valderas, and Daniela Estrada.

Grapevine's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-4. As for Brewer, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-6.

Everything went Grapevine's way against Brewer in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, as Grapevine made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grapevine since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
