Basketball Recap: Brillion Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Brillion, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the New Holstein Huskies with a sharp 52-29 victory on Thursday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Amaya Brooks continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-6 from long range and dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Emma Schuh was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Brillion is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. New Holstein is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

As of now, neither Brillion nor New Holstein have any future games scheduled.
