Softball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page lost against Northwest Guilford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Page Pirates lost 21-1 to the Northwest Guilford Vikings. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

Page saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariel McAfee, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Page's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northwest Guilford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Page will welcome Western Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Guilford has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 22.57 runs per game on average), something Page will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northwest Guilford, they will host North Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
