Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 61-51 to Carroll.

Zymirra Glanton was her usual excellent self, putting up 25 points and five steals for Carroll. That makes it four consecutive games in which Glanton has scored at least a third of Carroll's points. Makynzye Bonner was another key player, earning 15 points and four steals.

Providence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Providence Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-48 defeat against Straughn on the 25th. As for Carroll, they will head out on the road to take on Barbour County at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
