Volleyball Recap: Scappoose Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Scappoose and St. Helens had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Lions on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 9th.

Scappoose's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for St. Helens, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Scappoose will venture away from home to take on Tillamook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Cheesemakers at the right time seeing as the Cheesemakers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. St. Helens has already played their next matchup (against Junction City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
