Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for River Ridge

River Ridge entered their tilt with Clearwater Central Catholic on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders.

River Ridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lauren Lee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Lee is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. Lexi Wade was another key player, putting up 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

River Ridge's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points per game. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, they moved to 19-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
