Basketball Game Preview: Cape Fear Colts vs. Pine Forest Trojans + How To Watch

The Cape Fear Colts will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Pine Forest Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cape Fear's last matchup with Clinton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Colts were beaten by the Dark Horses 75-32. The Colts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine Forest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Cary by a score of 48-40 on Tuesday.

Cape Fear now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pine Forest, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Cape Fear against Pine Forest in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 72-28 win. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
