Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Village Comes Up Short

St. Anthony Village was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the DeLaSalle Islanders and fell 89-54. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Islanders are ranked 17th).

St. Anthony Village's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for DeLaSalle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

St. Anthony Village has already played their next game (against Columbia Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. DeLaSalle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-58 win against Robbinsdale Cooper on the 31st.
