Baseball Recap: Croton-Harmon Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Croton-Harmon took on Pleasantville on Wednesday. The Tigers won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Owen Mintzer was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Levine, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Croton-Harmon's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pleasantville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Croton-Harmon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
