Softball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

If Highland was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Buckeye last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Copley Indians by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Hornets have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Copley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Coming up, Highland will head out on the road to challenge Archbishop Hoban at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Copley, they will be playing at home against Cuyahoga Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
