While Northside's victory against Knox City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Greyhounds 21-19. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kaylor Gomez was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Aaryn Acosta, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Northside lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2025.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Knox City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Northside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-22 loss against Harrold on the 6th. As for Knox City, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-1 defeat against Munday on the 6th.
