Falcon's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mitchell with a sharp 18-0 win.
Kylie Heffern made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in August. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
In other batting news, Aliyah Allen was incredible, firing off three home runs, eight RBI, and eight RBI while going 4-for-4. Larissa Wesbrook was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Carlson, who went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
Falcon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. As for Elizabeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
