Del Norte won the last time they faced Rancho Bernardo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Del Norte Nighthawks blew past the Rancho Bernardo Broncos 3-0. The game marked the Nighthawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Del Norte not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rancho Bernardo between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

Will Bartelt paced Del Norte's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bartelt got some help from John Lee and his 19 assists. Bartelt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Del Norte's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-4. As for Rancho Bernardo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Norte will challenge Canyon Crest Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canyon Crest Academy will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Del Norte surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rancho Bernardo, they will square off against Patrick Henry at 6:30 p.m. on March 19th.
