If Berrien Springs was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Dowagiac on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shamrocks came up short against the Schoolcraft Eagles on Thursday, falling 11-3. The Shamrocks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brody Brewer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ethan McCrary, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Berrien Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Schoolcraft, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
