Baseball Game Preview: Bogue Chitto Bobcats vs. Stringer Red Devils

For the second straight game, Bogue Chitto will face off against Stringer. The Bobcats will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Bogue Chitto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Bogue Chitto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Stringer 19-1. The Bobcats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11, 2025 (when they won 19-0).

Tucker Kyzar made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Paxton Waldrop was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Maddox Cooper was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Bogue Chitto has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Stringer, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-17.
