Baseball Recap: West Perry Comes Up Short

West Perry fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Greencastle-Antrim on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 4-3. The Mustangs have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

West Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Greencastle-Antrim, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8.

Looking ahead, West Perry will face off against Northern York at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Polar Bears will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greencastle-Antrim, they will square off against Spring Grove at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
