Soccer Recap: Whitewater Takes a Loss

Whitewater managed to keep up with Stoughton until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Whippets lost 3-0 to the Vikings. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Whitewater's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Stoughton, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Whitewater will venture away from home to face off against Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewater are facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stoughton, they will head out to take on Portage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoughton will be up against Portage's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.6 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
