Baseball Game Preview: Westerville North Warriors vs. Columbus Academy Vikings

The Westerville North Warriors will square off against the Columbus Academy Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westerville North is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Westerville North beat Worthington Kilbourne 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Austin Heminger was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Heminger was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last nine matchups.

Meanwhile, Columbus Academy suffered their closest defeat since April 2nd on Saturday. They fell just short of St. Charles by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost four in a row.

Columbus Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Westerville North, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
