Lafayette is 8-2 against Tabb since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Lafayette hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Lafayette took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Poquoson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Islanders 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brady Isaksen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Breccan O'Grady was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Meanwhile, Tabb got the win against York on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

With the win, Lafayette broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Tabb, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Lafayette couldn't quite get it done against Tabb when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
