Volleyball Recap: Edgewood Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Edgewood had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Salem Quakers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Faith Vencill paced Edgewood's offense, picking up 26 kills. Vencill got some help from Summer Matthews and her 52 assists. Vencill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Salem, they dropped their record down to 8-16 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Name at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
