Baseball Recap: Princeton Tigers vs. Hampshire Trojans

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of the Hampshire Trojans by a score of 11-10. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Noah Dunford led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. Jaxton Monaghan was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base.

On Hampshire's side, Ethan VanMeter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. VanMeter was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Hampshire let Parker Charlton and Conner Wolford loose on the outfield.
