Football Recap: Green Canyon Takes a Loss

The Green Canyon Wolves lost to the Springville Red Devils on the road by a 27-9 margin on Friday.

Carter Perry threw for 146 yards and one touchdown. Cody Edelmayer was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards. On the ground, Micah Jenkins rushed for 53 yards.

Green Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Springville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Canyon will venture away from home to take on Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Springville, they will head out to challenge Provo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
