Recap: Kennedy Commanders vs. Hinkley Thunderbirds        
        
		
            
 The Kennedy Commanders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight loss. Their  tough  79-55 defeat to Hinkley  might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Despite the  defeat, Kennedy had strong showings from  Quinn Padilla, who  scored 14 points along with six  steals, and  Anthony Zink, who  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Ki'marri Dotson, who  scored five points along with two  steals.
 Kennedy's loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Hinkley,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will  face off against Denver North at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Denver North focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Hinkley, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Rangeview at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Rangeview focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
