Softball Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jacksonville on Thursday, Pleasant Valley came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Springville Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 31-12. As for Springville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 42-3-1 record this season.

Pleasant Valley will head out on the road to square off against Glencoe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Madison County on the 19th.
