Soccer Game Preview: North Knox vs. South Knox

North Knox is 1-8-1 against South Knox since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Knox will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Washington Catholic, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Warriors who were credited with the win on Saturday. North Knox got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Washington Catholic's two. Audrey Worstell had the honor of scoring the game-winner for North Knox.

On Saturday, neither South Knox nor Boonville could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, South Knox's record moves to 9-4-2. As for North Knox, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
