Soccer Recap: Wilbur Cross Comes Up Short

Wilbur Cross was the 1-0 winner over East Lyme when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Governors fell 3-1 to the Vikings on Saturday. Wilbur Cross have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Victor Mendoza, who's now up to two this season.

Wilbur Cross now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilbur Cross will take on Fairfield Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lyme, they will welcome Stonington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
