Baseball Game Preview: Notre Dame Jugglers vs. Whitesboro Warriors

Notre Dame is 1-6 against Whitesboro since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jugglers will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Notre Dame barely beat Adirondack the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jugglers blew past the Wildcats 12-6 on Wednesday. The Jugglers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Notre Dame got a massive performance out of Andrew Guidera, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Owen Bougourd was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, while Whitesboro put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Central Valley Academy. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Thunder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Whitesboro pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Notre Dame, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
