Soccer Game Preview: Maxwell vs. Los Molinos

The Maxwell Panthers will square off against the Los Molinos Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Maxwell duked it out withRedding Christian on Thursday. Maxwell had just enough and edged Redding Christian out 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Los Molinos can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Durham as Los Molinos made off with a 5-2 victory. Colin Mcdonald was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win got Los Molinos back to even at 5-5. As for Maxwell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Maxwell took their win against Los Molinos in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maxwell since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
