Football Recap: Belen Jesuit Takes a Loss

If Belen Jesuit was riding high fresh off their 47-0 takedown of BridgePrep Village Green last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell 20-14 to the American Patriots on Friday. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Belen Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for American, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belen Jesuit will take on Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for American, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dr. Krop at 7:30 p.m.
