The Christiansburg Blue Demons will venture away from home to take on the Blacksburg Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Christiansburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Christiansburg got the win against Pulaski County by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Christiansburg was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Blacksburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hidden Valley.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 26-28, 26-24.

Christiansburg's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Blacksburg, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Everything went Christiansburg's way against Blacksburg in their previous meeting back in September, as Christiansburg made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Demons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
