Football Game Preview: Broadmoor Buccaneers vs. Slaughter Community Charter Knights + Official Tickets

The Broadmoor Buccaneers are taking a road trip to square off against the Slaughter Community Charter Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Friday, Broadmoor was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 14-9 to Belaire. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, Slaughter Community Charter made sure to put some points up on the board against Baker on Friday. The Knights blew past the Buffaloes 33-7. Considering the Knights have won six contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Broadmoor better keep an eye on Ty'Kimion Ford. He was instrumental in Slaughter Community Charter's win, rushing for 136 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 109 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. That's the most rushing yards Ford has posted since back in November of 2024.

Slaughter Community Charter's record is now 6-2. As for Broadmoor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Broadmoor couldn't quite get it done against Slaughter Community Charter in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 10-0. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
