Football Recap: Caddo's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Caddo barely beat Keota the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins claimed a resounding 48-0 win over the Lions. Considering the Bruins have won six matchups by more than 46 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cale Wigington produced another solid effort rushing for 93 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 149 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Noah Dry also helped with two scores in total.

The victory keeps Caddo at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average this season. As for Keota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
