Soccer Recap: Midland Valley Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Midland Valley was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They came up short against the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles, falling 4-1. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Mustangs it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Arnold Vigil, who's now up to two this season.

Midland Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Midland Valley will head out to face off against Brookland-Cayce at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against North Augusta at 7:00 p.m.
