Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Camden County Bruins
There's no place like home for the First Flight Nighthawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 82-38 victory over Camden County at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as First Flight also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Mason Dobie was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The match was his 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Burke Powers, who scored 12 points.
First Flight's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Camden County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
First Flight will head out on the road to face off against Hertford County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
