Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg

There's no place like home for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Neoga Indians on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in their matchups with Neoga: they've now won six in a row.

Aiden Sayers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Branson Tingley, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double. Oliver Wascher also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
