Legacy Early College scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 67-60 to the J.L. Mann Patriots. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Legacy Early College lost, don't look at Reagan Buff. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-15 on her way to 20 points. Naomi Robinson was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Jade Hailstock went supernova For J.L. Mann., almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Hailstock is now averaging an impressive 19.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Imari Richardson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Legacy Early College and nudges their season record down to 3-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 3-2 Gray Collegiate Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 80% over those games). As for J.L. Mann, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
